I work with people on a one-on-one basis or in a group setting with their health and wellness goals. Common issues I work with are digestive issues, estrogen dominance, hormonal imbalances, fatigue, weight issues, and anxiety. My motto is Patience, Focus, and Discipline.
Vibrational Sound Meditations
Vibrational Sound Meditations are similar to Gong Baths, but better!
I perform Vibrational Sound Meditations. I play the Gong, Crystal Bowls, Tibetan Bowls, Shamanic Drum, ocean drum, rain sticks, tingshas, and other vibrational instruments, making it a complete sound journey. As the instruments are played, you lie down on a yoga mat and receive the vibrations throughout every cell in your body. You can expect to become very relaxed, and maybe even fall asleep!
I can do Gong Vibrational Sound Mediations, Crystal Bowl Meditations, or a combination, what ever your heart desires.
See more information on the Vibrational Sound Meditations page.
Deep Tissue Massage uses slow and deep strokes focusing on the deep layers of muscle in an effort to release chronic patterns of tension, adhesions, and knots. The result is the body is able to move more freely, reduced pain, and a healthier body.
Swedish Massage is more of a soothing massage, going with the grain of the muscle, relieving tension and creating relaxation.
Neuromuscular Massage uses various soft tissue manipulation techniques to balance the central nervous system, release trigger points, and aid in the structure and form of the musculoskeletal system.
Hot Stone Massage at Nirvana Massage is included in every massage with NO additional charge. The therapist uses warm stones to apply heat to the body to help loosen tension and allow the therapist to unlock holding patterns.
Chair Massage is also available
* I use essential oils and warm stones with every massage, creating a blissful experience
The New Age Sound Therapy!
The development of Vibroacoustic (VA) therapy as a form of treatment began in the early 1980's. However, sound therapy is ancient and has been used by many cultures throughout the world. VibroAcoustic Therapy is a treatment involving the psychological and physical stimuli of relaxing music and pulsed sinusoidal low frequency tones between 20Hz and 70Hz played through speakers built into a sound lounge.
VA Therapy is a non-medical sound and vibration system that provides audio and tactile stimulation to the mind and body. This therapy delivers "natural frequencies" in a passive and non-invasive process to the brain and central nervous system with the specific intent of balancing, optimizing and harmonizing these cells in our body and brain through entrainment.
Research is proving that frequency therapy can be an effective & safe way to help relieve symptoms of stress, anxiety and the effects of health problems such as addiction, depression, Parkisons Disease, Multiple Sclerosis, Autism, as well as many other afflictions.
VibroAcoustic Therapy can also help with:
Balancing the Chakras
Clearing Stagnant Energy
Experiencing Blissful States of Being
Mind, Body, and Soul Connection
Sound is absorbed by every atom, molecule, cell, gland, and organ.Everything vibrates and everything has its own vibrational resonance. When dis-ease occurs, the natural harmonic resonance is out of balance. It is through sound that we can help our bodies resonate back to homeostasis.
What to Expect During the Session
Specific to You
The appropriate sound therapy will be selected specific to each individual’s needs. Then while laying on the lounge, completely clothed, headphones are placed on you, and the sound lounge is turned on. Not only will you hear the music, but through the lounge embedded with transducers, you will also feel the vibrations of the sound throughout every cell of your body. It’s truly a cellular massage!
The Relaxation Response
A primary outcome of the VibroAcoustic music experience is the facilitation of a state of deep relaxation. Triggered by what is called the Relaxation Response, this mental, physical, and emotional state is characterized by lowered blood pressure, decreased heart, breathing, and metabolic rates, and mind/body coherence.
Relaxation is a Beautiful Thing!
